Introduction:
Osteo-odonto-keratoprosthesis (OOKP) is also known as ‘Tooth
is eye Surgery’, is a medical procedure

amenable to corneal transplantation or other forms of surgery. This surgery

the cheek lining is opened. A circular opening is made in the cornea and the
iris and the lens is removed from the eyes. Then the tooth structured tooth is
removed from the patient’s cheek, implanted within the eyes and covered with
the cheek linings.
